Sigma "New Roxy II" Motorcycle Boots - Hi Tech
These are the 2013 model & are the very latest in Hi Tech design.
They are premium quality, performance boots that are the result of revolutionary manufacturing processes.
The heart of the design is the footbed which is formed on a lightweight uni directional tempered spring steel tongue. It produces exceptional torsional rigidity between the heel & toe sections.
The basis of the upper construction is EU grade motorcycle leather, micro mesh polyeurethane flex panels, Hipora breathable membrasne & polyester interior insulation.
There is an instep compression panel, a calf stability pad, inner & outer ankle torsion control strips & a reinforced gear change pad.
The heel armour includes a torsional rigidity hinge (similar to a ski boot) & a compression damper.
The shin guard slider & toe slider are both replaceable lightweight alloy CE units.
They are waterproof, oil & petrol proof. The semi permiable membrane allows moisture dissapation in hot conditions.
They are quick & easy to fit. There is a zip on the inner cuff with two large velcro pads to finish. Getting them off is also quick.
The footbed is orthopedically formed, insulated & vibration absorbing.
These boots are super light at 800g & allow easy gearchanging & brake operation whilst providing substantial ankle support..
Even though these are performance boots, they are so comfortable that they are suitable for commuting & long distance touring.
